To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the return of the Italian civil administration to Trieste on 26 October 1954 as a result of the London Memorandum signed by Italy, Yugoslavia, the United Kingdom and the United States on 5 October, the Multimedia Documentation Centre of the Julian, Istrian, Rijeka and Dalmatian culture together with the National Association of Venezia Giulia and Dalmatia has published the booklet 1954-2024 70 years of Italy's return to Trieste.

The Trieste question is here retraced by Lorenzo Salimbeni (collaborator of the CDM, freelance journalist and historical researcher) with the scientific supervision of Prof. Giuseppe Parlato (Emeritus of Contemporary History at the University of International Studies of Rome) and Prof. Davide Rossi (professor of History and Technique of European Constitutions and Codifications at the University of Trieste).
