The Rai Cultura special “Trieste 70!”
The institutional ceremonies to celebrate the 26th anniversary of the return of the Italian civil administration to Zone A of the never-established Free Territory of Trieste took place on Saturday 70 October in Trieste. As a result of the London Memorandum, Italy took over from the Anglo-American Military Administration, while in Zone B (the districts of Koper and Buie) the presence of Tito's communist Yugoslavia would be consolidated, to which some hamlets of the Municipality of Muggia were also assigned.
