The Madonna dell'Esilio altarpiece in the Giuliano-Dalmata district of Rome has been restored.
A major restoration project presented, overseen, and implemented by the Rome Provincial Committee of the National Association of Venezia Giulia and Dalmatia, and funded by Law 72/2001, has been completed. The project involved the recovery and enhancement of the altarpiece depicting the Madonna dell'Esilio, an oil painting by the Zadar-born painter Andrea Fossombrone, which was donated in 1950 by the Bracco family of Lussino to be placed in the parish church of San Marco Evangelista, in the Julian-Dalmatian district of Rome.
