The competition announcement has been published by Unione Italiana for the educational excursion to Rome for young compatriots. The announcement requires a motivational letter of about a thousand words by July 30, 2023, in which candidates are encouraged to express the knowledge they expect to acquire, the skills they wish to develop and their opinions on youth issues in the Italian community. The results of the selection will be made public by August 14.

The EU Italian project aims to provide young participants with a comprehensive vision of the social reality that surrounds them starting from the local level up to understanding the opportunities offered by the European Union. Through a structured training course, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the institutional aspect of the Italian National Community in Slovenia and Croatia, familiarize themselves with the Italian institutional apparatus that supports the CNI from Italy, increase their management skills and explore the Italian cultural heritage at the basis of their language and traditions. Furthermore, the training aims to foster the inclusion of competent and motivated young people within the CNI institutions ensuring the sustainability and development of the Community in the long term.

During the trip to Rome, scheduled for September 26-30, young people will have the opportunity to participate in institutional visits and workshops, putting into practice what will be presented by the speakers and sharing ideas and solutions.

The open call for applications requires a motivational letter of approximately one thousand words to be submitted by July 30, 2023, in which candidates are encouraged to express the knowledge they want to acquire, the skills they want to develop, and their opinions on youth issues in the Italian community. The creativity and passion of the candidates will be taken into consideration in the evaluation of the applications.
