The series of lectures “In the footsteps of Dante in Istria and beyond” by Valentina Petaros Jeromela, PhD in Modern Literature with a specialization in Italian philology and Dante criticism, senior archivist and president of the Dante Alighieri Society Slovenia – Capodistria Committee, continues successfully. The philologist was a guest of the Italian Community of Cittanova, where she intrigued the large audience, anxious above all to find out whether Dante, during his pilgrimages, had actually reached the Istrian peninsula.

Cristina Fattori, president of the hosting association, welcomed the speaker, reiterating her satisfaction at being able to discuss such an interesting and fascinating topic as the one proposed by Valentina Petaros Jeromela at her own venue.
