New appointment with the project “Dante Adriaticus” that on the occasion of the Dante centenary the provincial committee of Rome of the National Association of Venezia Giulia and Dalmatia is developing on behalf of the national headquarters thanks to a contribution from Law 72/2001.

The festival dedicated to the relationship between Dante Alighieri and the Italianness of the Eastern Adriatic will stop in Verona on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 October for a series of events organized in collaboration with the Teatro Stabile di Verona and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, the Veneto Region, the Municipality of Verona and the Dante Festival.

It starts on Saturday 9 October at 15:00 pm at the Teatro Nuovo in Verona in Piazza Francesco Viviani 10 with the international conference of studies "Dante Alighieri between Verona and the Eastern Adriatic", introduced and coordinated by Prof. Donatella Schürzel (National Vice President of Anvgd and President of the Roman Committee). At 21 pm the Teatro Nuovo in Verona will also host the Dantean theatrical show “Tu lascerai ogni cosa diletta”, in which the Lecturae Dantis by Massimilla di Serego Alighieri (descendant of the Supreme Poet), Alessandro Dinuzzi and Katia Mirabella will alternate with the insights of Maria Grazia Chiappori (La Sapienza University of Rome), Donatella Schürzel (Cusano University of Rome) and Piermario Vescovo (Teatro Stabile di Verona) following the musical accompaniment by Paolo Pasquini.

Sunday 10th October appointment again at the Teatro Nuovo at 10:00, but to start following the travelling show Silent Dante conceived by Paolo Valerio (directed by Silvia Mercuriali and Paolo Valerio, written by Silvia Mercuriali and Alberto Pavoni with sound design by Silvia Mercuriali). The spectators, modern souls on a journey, will be led into Dante's works, in a unique and unrepeatable way, between earthly, historical and real places and otherworldly places of the imagination. During the journey Virgil - Narrator (Alberto Pavoni) and Beatrice (Linda Crema) will lead the spectators, as if they too were walking Dante's path.
