THE 8TH MEMORY RACE GOES VIRTUAL: FROM 7 TO 10 FEBRUARY RUN YOUR 10 KM ON A ROUTE OF YOUR CHOICE IN COMPLIANCE WITH HEALTH PROTOCOLS

In times of pandemic, the formula will change but not the cultural and social purposes that the race holds. From 7 to 10 February 2021, the 8th edition of the Corsa del Ricordo will take place, a traditional Roman sporting event included in the events organized throughout Italy to commemorate the 'Giorno del Ricordo' established by the Italian State to remember the tragedy of the foibe and the exodus of the Italian populations from Fiume, Istria and Dalmatia.

The ASD Atletica Asi Roma, in collaboration with the Regional and Provincial Committee Asi (Italian Sports & Social Associations), and the patronage of Asi Nazionale, Regione Lazio, the Federation of Associations of Istrian, Fiume and Dalmatian Exiles and the National Association of Venezia Giulia and Dalmatia, did not want to throw in the towel and decided to transform the race into a virtual 10 km race in which everyone can participate, to run together in every part of Italy and abroad. Each participant will be able to run/walk on a route of their choice, of 10 km, from 7 to 10 February, days in which the times of each participant will be approved, ideally connected through the enternow.it platform (service guaranteed by TDS) to all the other runners giving life to their performance, comparing themselves remotely. It will be an unusual, but equally fascinating, way to launch an important message together, the same that this event has always wanted to do by recalling a page of history for too long, culpably neglected by history books. In short, the way of being together will change but not the feeling and spirit with which to face the test.

On Sunday 7 February, the day the virtual race will start, the organizers, together with sports and political authorities, in compliance with anti-covid distancing, will also be in via Oscar Senigallia, in the heart of the Giuliano Dalmata district of Rome, to lay a wreath of flowers at the foot of the stele commemorating the exodus and the fallen of the foibe.

REGISTRATION FEE DONATED TO SPALLANZANI HOSPITAL

The registration fee will be symbolic, 5,00 Euro, which will be entirely donated to the Spallanzani Hospital in Rome for research related to the anti-Covid vaccine.

All participants will receive a participation diploma online.

REGULATION

The ASD ATLETICA ASI ROMA organizes in Italy from 7 to 10 FEBRUARY 2021 in collaboration with the Regional and Provincial Committee of Rome of the ASI (Italian Sports & Social Associations), the event "8^ Corsa del Ricordo", a virtual road race of 10 km. The event is sponsored by the National ASI, the Lazio Region, Federesuli and the National Association of Venezia Giulia and Dalmazia. The race will take place virtually, each athlete will cover the distance of 10 km individually and at the time that is most convenient for them from 7 to 10 February 2021.

PARTICIPATION

Participation is open to all and no medical certificate or membership to any Sports Federation or Sports Promotion Body is required. Registrations are only possible online directly from the TDS circuit on the website ENTERNOW.IT no later than 18,00:10 pm on 2021 February 5,00. The registration fee is €00 (five.XNUMX).

The proceeds from registrations to the event will be entirely donated to INMI L. Spallanzani for specific projects for research on Covid-19.

All participants will be given a participation diploma online.

EVENT PROGRESS

Run where, how and when you want. From February 7th to 10th you can run wherever you want and at the time you prefer. You can run in the streets of your neighborhood or your city, in the countryside or in the mountains, or wherever it is safe in full compliance with the current COVID-19 health protocols.

There is no competitive ranking, but by tracking your performance with any digital tool you are used to doing it and sending the data of your performance on the 10Km to the address info@tds.sport , you will be placed in an alphabetical list and you will be able to download the certificate of participation with the time you declared. To communicate the time taken to cover the 10 km you can send a photo of your stopwatch, the sharing link of APPs such as Stava, Garmin, Polar, or the screenshot of other applications.

Registered participants are invited to wear the personalized bib during the race or walk that they will receive online after registration by sending to our email (info@asilazio.it) any photos.

DECLARATION OF RESPONSIBILITY'

By registering, the participant automatically adheres to and accepts this regulation. During their participation, the participant is required to comply with the Highway Code and the Prime Ministerial Decrees relating to the measures regarding the containment and management of the COVID-19 epidemiological emergency, both national, regional and municipal.

Any failure to comply with the aforementioned measures and rules cannot be attributed to the organizers of the initiative referred to in this regulation. By registering and enrolling, the participant declares that he or she knows and accepts this regulation and Asd Atletica ASI Roma is exonerated from any liability, both civil and criminal, for damage to persons and/or things caused by the member or derived from him or her and/or injuries, even with respect to any minors who will take part in the initiative and accompanied by him or her.

IMAGE RIGHTS

By registering for the 8th edition of the “Corsa del Ricordo” the athlete expressly and free of charge authorizes the organization and/or any assignees entitled to it, to use the still or moving images in which the athlete may appear, taken during his/her participation in the race, on all audiovisual media as well as on promotional and/or advertising materials, which may be produced and distributed by any means (for example by television, internet, etc.) throughout the world and for the entire maximum time provided for by the laws, regulations, treaties in force, including any extension that may be made to the expected period.

By registering, your personal data will be processed by TDS. By submitting your name, you therefore give your consent to the processing of your data, which will be carried out electronically and in compliance with the legislation on the protection of personal data pursuant to Law 31/12/1996 n. 675.
