The Multimedia Documentation Centre of Julian, Istrian, Rijeka and Dalmatian Culture – CDM adheres (together with the Federation of Associations of Istrian, Rijeka and Dalmatian Exiles, the Provincial Committee of Trieste of the National Association of Venezia Giulia and Dalmatia, the National League and the Association of Istrian Communities) to the institutional initiatives that will celebrate the 2023 Day of Remembrance in Trieste.

On Friday 10 February in particular at 9:30 a.m. there will be a wreath laying at the Foiba National Monument n. 149 in Monrupino and at 10:30 a.m. the commemorative ceremony will take place at the Foiba National Monument in Basovizza.

“The Day of Remembrance: what should we remember?” is the title of the conference that Dr. Stefano Pilotto will hold at 17:30 pm in the Sala Bartoli of the Teatro Politeama Rossetti (Viale XX Settembre 45). Also in the Sala Bartoli on Saturday 11 February at 17:30 pm the show “Boats without a rudder. Atlas of refugee camps in the territory of Trieste” will take place: it is a work by the historian Francesco Fait, who will also be on stage together with the actress Marzia Postogna and the musician Eduardo Contizanetti.
