Istrian communists said "Titoists worse than fascists"
The publisher Ronzani continues its meritorious work of recovery and dissemination of the native Italian literature of the Eastern Adriatic.
After a trilogy dedicated to Nelida Milani and her perspectives on the lives of those who “remained” in communist Yugoslavia, it is the turn of the Rovinj poet Ligio Zanini, whose autobiography Martin Muma dwells extensively on the inhumane conditions in which the “Cominformist” communists ended up in the gulag on Goli Otok (Bald Island), those who recognized the supreme authority of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and the Cominform (coordinating body between the communist parties) even after the Tito/Stalin split in the summer of 1948.
