Gian Paolo Polesini, a professional journalist, worked on cinema and television for Messaggero Veneto from 1992 to 2018. He currently collaborates with the same newspaper and with Il Piccolo di Trieste for the Culture section. He writes about golf for Corsaro della Sera.
He has published three books: Sangue Blu, Cre@ttiva Editore, MissInTime, Italian girls, Volpato Editore, and On Demand, TV (to read) whenever you want, Volpato Editore.
With the Orto della Cultura he published his latest autobiographical novel “Polle, the only child”.

I am a nobleman born poor because of History that wiped out the immense properties of our Istrian family, coincidentally thirteen years before I was born. From the mid-fifteenth century to August 4, 1944, the family lived in wealth, especially in the eighteenth century, an age favorable to the social ascent of the five Polesini brothers who were named Marquises by the Doge Paolo Ranieri. This book is an unpretentious divertissement, the aim is only to smile about the past and the present in absolute respect of that minimum of glory accumulated by the lineage in seven centuries. Thus adding, with Polle The Only Son, other stories in Sangue Blu, the book I wrote in 2007 to confirm the euthanasia of this dynasty, which will die with me. I hope late. No big deal: a titled person without a castle and without a horse has never gone anywhere.
