The Istrian-Venetian Cultural Circle “Istria” was founded in 1982 by Istrian personalities such as: Mario Brazzafolli, Franco Colombo, Giorgio Depangher, Livio Favento, Mario Fragiacomo, Guido Miglia, Pietro Parentin, Livio Pesante, Rino Prelaz, Stelio Spadaro, Liliana Urbani, Marino Vocci, proposing a recomposition of Istrian culture after the traumas inflicted on it by the war and the post-war period, and particularly intense and profound on the Istrian-Venetian component.
