On the occasion of the upcoming celebrations of the Day of Remembrance – Wednesday 10 February 2016, 21.00 pm – the Saronno Historical Society is promoting the meeting entitled The Eastern Border Between Nationalisms and Conflicts by Giorgio Federico Siboni. The conference takes its inspiration from the volume The Eastern Border. From Campoformio to the European Landing, Sestri Levante, Oltre edizioni, 2012, pp. 133. The author and lecturer – Giorgio Federico Siboni (1979) – is a PhD in service at the University of Milan. Member of scientific committees for cultural institutes and national and foreign historical societies, he coordinates inter-ministerial study projects relating to the history of the territory. He is the author of essays and monographs.
