Sacrifice and Hospitality, Committee Conference, February 10th

The February 10th Committee, in conjunction with its national assembly, is organizing, with the contribution of the Ministry of Culture, the conference on Sunday 15th March in the "Sala Giulia" of Villa Romanazzi Carducci in via Giuseppe Capruzzi 326 in Bari
“Sacrifice and Hospitality”
The Southern Martyrs of the Foibe
and the welcome of the Exiles
from the Eastern Border of Italy
in the Southern Regions 
The conference has two objectives:
– remember the southerners who, for work reasons (carabinieri, financial police, police officers, state employees, teachers, etc.), were in Istria, Fiume, and Dalmatia between 1943 and 1945 and were victims of the foibe or died in the communist extermination camps in Yugoslavia;
– to recall the reception of refugees from Italy's eastern border in the regions of southern Italy.
