A powerful work, the result of the work of academics and researchers who have worked in an interdisciplinary manner in order to provide the most comprehensive possible picture of what "The Adriatic territory. Historical horizon, landscape geography, economic, legal and artistic aspects" represents. This publication in three substantial volumes was created thanks to the contribution of L. 72/2001 by the Adriatic Coordination Association and recently published by the prestigious Edizioni Scientifiche Italiane of Naples. Conceived by Prof. Giuseppe de Vergottini, the work was then brought to fruition by involving about fifty authors, who provided their own contribution coordinated by de Vergottini himself, Emanuele Bugli, Guglielmo Cevolin, Davide Lo Presti, Valeria Piergigli, Davide Rossi, Ivan Russo and Giorgio Federico Siboni.
