The " Coordinamento Adriatico " Association, in collaboration with the prestigious Naples-based publishing house ESI (Edizioni Scientifiche Italiane), has published a three-volume publication entitled "The Adriatic Territory. Historical Horizon, Landscape Geography, Economic, Legal, and Artistic Aspects." This multidisciplinary work, nearly 1.500 pages in length, involved over forty scholars. This large working group was edited and coordinated by Giuseppe de Vergottini, Emanuele Bugli, Guglielmo Cevolin, Davide Lo Presti, Valeria Piergigli, Davide Rossi, Ivan Russo, and Giorgio Federico Siboni.

The sections into which the work is divided concern “Genesis and changes in the structures of territorial power in the Adriatic”, “Architecture, infrastructures and port-cities, the built space in the territory”, “Law and organization of the territory: a historical-legal perspective”, “Law and organization of the territory: urban and administrative aspects”, “Economic opportunities and commercial dynamics” and “Cultural identities and sovereignty” – in turn divided into two parts: “The cultural homogeneity of the Upper Adriatic” and “Identities, differences and sovereignty in the Upper Adriatic”.
