The activities of the Istria Club for the Day of Remembrance begin today
Monday 14 February at 17: 00 at the Casa della Musica (in Via dei Capitelli 3 in Trieste) the Istrian-Venetian Cultural Circle Istria will present the project
“ESPOES”, a multimedia and interactive exhibition dedicated to the history of the Exodus and the Foibe
curated and created by our club. The virtual platform is currently being set up and its official inauguration will take place in the coming months, but some content will be presented in preview. Speakers will include Ezio Giuricin e Daniel Kovačić.
To participate in the event in person, it will be mandatory to show the green pass. The presentation will also be broadcast in streaming on the home page of the Circolo Istria website: http://www.circoloistria.com

Greetings from: Antonio Vatta, ANVGD Turin, Elena Cappai, Regional School Office Piedmont, Alessandro Bollo, Polo del Novecento. Speakers: Francesca Angeleri, Enrico Miletto, Sergio Toffetti. Ezio Giuricin and Daniele Kovacic of the Circolo “Istria” present the ESPOES project – Interactive multimedia exhibition dedicated to the Exodus and the Foibe.
The online seminar intends to illustrate three different resources:
– the Donorà Fund which brings together unpublished family audiovisual sources
– the virtual museum being established and the ESPOES project of the “Istria” Circle
– documentary Fertilia Istriana which tells the story of the resettlement of a large community of exiles in Sardinia in 1947.
