With an overall share of just under 14%, Istria has confirmed its status this year too and is among the best olive-growing regions in the world.

The latest publication of the prestigious guide Olei Flos, now in its 17th edition, includes 68 producers from the peninsula, all classified with a score between 80 and 100. Among the overall winners, the Mate oil mill from Salvore, owned by Alessandra Vekić, stands out.
