200 Years Luxardo Stamp

Luxardo SpA joins the exclusive association Les Hénokiens

The prestigious association 'Les Hénokiens' brings together the very few companies in the world that have at least 200 years of history and whose ownership has always remained in the same family.

The Luxardo distillery celebrates its 200th anniversary. This anniversary allows it to officially join the prestigious association 'Les Hénokiens', which brings together the very few companies in the world that can meet the requirements of longevity, that is, that they have at least 200 years of history, continuity, since the ownership must always have remained in the same family, and financial solidity. With the admission of Luxardo, the member companies reach 51 in the world, 13 of which are Italian. "We are honored to have become members of Les Hénokiens today," comments Franco Luxardo, senior partner of Luxardo SpA, "a confirmation of prestige that gives further value to the tenacity that our family has been able to courageously demonstrate with decisive actions, constructive impulses and decisive turning points throughout its history. This is a result that emphasizes the solidity of the principles that have always guided us and thanks to which we have managed to cross 200 years and resist over the centuries."

Henokiens

Created in 1981 in France, the Association, which owes its name to the biblical character of Enoch, who is credited with having lived for 365 years, has the precise objective of welcoming companies that meet the aforementioned requirements of longevity and continuity, based on a common philosophy: the value of the concept of family business, a valid alternative to multinational companies. The Hénokiens Association brings together large and small industrial dynasties, business entities involved in highly diversified sectors, each of which carries with it a fascinating history, while being deeply rooted in the economic scenarios of the present, navigating between modernism and tradition, between know-how inherited from the past and innovation or diversification. Currently, the Hénokiens include fifteen French companies, thirteen Italian, ten Japanese, four German, three Swiss, two Dutch, two Belgian, one English and one Austrian. The association of Hénokiens is not a business club: its members, who belong to the most diverse productive categories, from luxury goods to heavy industry, from naval armament to agri-food, from high technology to hospitality, can also be in competition with each other. The purpose of the association is neither lobbying nor the exchange of services, but rather the circulation of ideas and the elaboration of a common platform of ideal values.
