The National League has renewed its officers for the next three years: Attorney Paolo Sardos Albertini was confirmed as president by acclamation, joined by two vice presidents, Commander Diego Guerin and Professor Stefano Pilotto.

President Paolo Sardos Albertini, in agreement with the vice-presidents, has also appointed Elisabetta Mereu as central secretary, Dr. Andrea Sardos Albertini as administrator, and Mr. Luca Bellani as treasurer. Dr. Andrea Legovini (who will assist Professor Stefano Pilotto in cultural activities) and Mr. Fulvio Sluga (who will assist Commander Diego Guerin in representational activities) have also been elected to the Presidential Council.

The new corporate bodies will now be engaged in the important celebrations commemorating the eightieth anniversary of the Vergarolla massacre, which took place in Pola in August 1946, the organization of an important international conference in November on the theme "The Sense of the Divine in Italian Literature from Beyond the Adriatic," coordinated by Professor Giorgio Baroni, the presentation of volumes, and other important cultural initiatives.
