D'Annunzio's biography "Ariel armed" reprinted
The first edition of “Ariel armato”, the very famous biography of Gabriele d'Annunzio, dates back to 1931. It was printed in a single volume of 507 numbered copies on handmade Fabriano paper, bound in canvas, in the colours of the “Commander” – blue and red – with symbolic figuration by Guido Marussig, a Julian artist who had followed the Poet in the Fiume enterprise.
The publishing house Oaks has recently published a book with an introduction by Antonio Zollino new edition of the monumental biography of the soldier poet written by Angelo Sodini (1875-1939), writer and literary critic, friend and editor of the works of Gabriele d'Annunzio, and immediately became a great classic.
