Vittoriale degli Italiani

Eastern Border History Summer School

New, important step forward in the collaboration between the Ministry of Education and the Associations of Istrian, Fiume and Dalmatian Exiles: a summer school dedicated to the history of the eastern border in the prestigious setting of the Vittoriale.

In fact, the first summer school entitled “The difficult twentieth century of the eastern border. From the Italian Risorgimento to European perspectives” will take place from 12 to 16 July in Gardone Riviera (in the province of Brescia) in the Vittoriale degli Italiani as part of the initiatives for the centenary of the sumptuous residence of Gabriele d'Annunzio after the Fiume enterprise.

The event will take place in person in compliance with the anti-Covid safety provisions, involving a selection of teachers who were found suitable for the call issued by the Department of the Education System of Instruction and Training - General Directorate for School Systems, Evaluation and Internationalization of the National Education System of the Ministry of Education.

It will still be possible to follow the works live and then watch them again in streaming on the channel YouTube CDM (Multimedia Documentation Center of Julian, Istrian, Rijeka and Dalmatian Culture) and on the page Facebook ANVGD National Headquarters.
