The February 10 Committee expresses dismay and indignation at what happened yesterday in Macerata.
During the demonstration organized by several so-called 'anti-fascist' groups, to protest against the violence resulting from the very serious news events of the past few days, in our opinion inappropriately established on a sensitive and delicate day such as that of the Remembrance of the victims of the foibe and the subsequent Julian-Dalmatian exodus, the country witnessed a gratuitous and indecent barbarity: choirs singing "How beautiful it is to make the foibe from Trieste down". These people have in this way vilified thousands of totally innocent deaths, including many anti-fascists guilty only of being Italian.

Minister Minniti will certainly be informed that this is Public Incitement and Apology of Genocide (L. 9 October 1967 n.962 art. 8). We await a dutiful position from him and the organizing acronyms, also regarding the inappropriateness of the coincidence that has pushed the city authorities to cancel the celebrations of the Day foreseen by the law of 2004. At this point, silence would be connivance.
