This is the anastatic reprint of the monograph “Capodistria” by Baccio Ziliotto, published in 1910 by Giuseppe Mayländer. It was part of a series entitled “La Venezia Giulia e la Dalmazia” containing a series of works intended for the dissemination of the Italian nature of these lands at a time in history when the conflicts with the Slavic nationalists and the Habsburg authorities were reaching their peak, right on the eve of the First World War.
