As part of the initiatives supported by the Municipality of Trieste on the occasion of Remembrance Day 2026, the Circolo Istria organized a roundtable discussion on Wednesday, February 26, titled "Arsia, lest we forget." The Istrian-Venetian Cultural Circle “Istria”, in collaboration with the Trade Unions, the Interregional Trade Union Council, the Provincial Consulate of Trieste of the Federation of Masters of Labor and other local and regional entities, organizes a commemoration ceremony in memory of all the martyrs of labor and the victims of the disaster that occurred in the Istrian coal mines of Arsia on February 28, 1940.
