This week Giuseppina "Mary" Nacinovich, a Fiume exile and mother of the popular showbiz personality Umberto Smaila, passed away. Active in the Provincial Committee of Verona of the National Association of Venezia Giulia Dalmazia, she was born on March 17, 1926. Due to the historical events of her city, she had a very eventful life: beautiful in her childhood, troubled later, but later recomposed with courage and energy.
