The origins of Prosecco are not in Dalmatia
Croatia has submitted to the European Commission a request for registration of the traditional term Prosek, an awkward translation of the Italian term Prosecco, denoting the sparkling wine production that has enjoyed worldwide success for years with 500 million bottles produced in the Northeast of Italy.
