Centenary of the Dalmatian Society of National History
The Dalmatian Society of National History, founded in Zadar on March 11, 1926, will celebrate its centennial in Rome on the same date. The commemorative event will be held in the morning at the ISMA Hall of the Senate of the Republic at Piazza Capranica 72, and in the afternoon at the Library of Modern and Contemporary History at Via Michelangelo Caetani 32. Registration for the morning session is required at roberto.menia@senato.it and sddsp@sddsp.it. Appropriate attire is required, and men should wear a jacket and tie. The new website of the Dalmatian Society of National History
The Dalmatian Society of National History is a scientific historical society, based in Rome in via Fratelli Reiss Romoli 19 (Quartiere Giuliano-Dalmata), which deals with studies and research regarding the historical European region of Dalmatia and belongs to the Central Council for Historical Studies. The current president is Prof. Rita Tolomeo, emeritus of Eastern European History of the “Sapienza” University of Rome.
