As part of the activities promoted by the Coordination Board for Remembrance Day established by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Minister for Sport and Youth, Andrea Abodi, promoted the third edition of “The Remembrance Train”.

The project is implemented by the Office for Anniversaries of National Interest of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the FS Italiane Foundation, and the FS Group, in collaboration with several Ministries, RAI, and the Regional Institute for Istrian-Fiumano-Dalmatian Culture.

For the 2026 edition, the Train of Remembrance will make the following eleven stops:

• Trieste (10–11 February)

• Pordenone (12–13 February)

• Bologna (14–15 February)

• Pescara (16–17 February)

• L'Aquila (February 18)

• Rome – Ostiense (19–20 February)

• Latina (February 21)

• Salerno (February 22)

• Reggio Calabria (February 24–25)

• Palermo (February 26–27)

• Syracuse (February 28 – March 1)

Generally speaking, it is anticipated that during the two-day stops, on the first day, the opening hours will be from 1:00 PM to 6:30 PM, while on the second day, from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
