An exhibition dedicated to the 500th anniversary of Pietro Coppo's Istrian Charter.
The exhibition "Ugo Carà" will be inaugurated on Thursday 9th April at 5.30pm at the Museum of Modern Art "Ugo Carà" in Muggia (TS) Pietro Coppo, 500 Years of the Istrian Charter, and the Muggia of the Time, created by the Italian Centre “Carlo Combi” of Koper, the Society of Historical and Geographical Studies of Piran and the Self-Governing Community of the Italian Nationality of Piran, in collaboration with the Maritime Museum “Sergej Mašera” of Piran.
Introduced by Franco Biloslavo, National League – Muggia Section, with greetings from Nicola Delconte, Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Muggia. Speakers include Kristjan Knez, Italian Center “Carlo Combi” of Capodistria, and the Society of Historical and Geographical Studies of Piran. “Pietro Coppo and the Map of Istria 1525-2025”, and Stefano Furlan: “Muggia in the time of Pietro Coppo”.
The exhibition can be visited with free admission until Sunday 10 May 2026 with the following hours, from Thursday to Saturday 10am-12pm and 17pm-19pm, Sundays and holidays 10am-12pm.
