One hundred years of Parenzana

On December 15, 1902, the first convoy of the Parenzana set off in a cloud of steam, the narrow-gauge railway that connected Trieste to Parenzo, touching the ancient villages perched on the heights of inland Istria.

Our Association

The CDM deals with culture and history in the broadest sense, from tourism to cuisine, from historical documentation to teaching, from literature to art, but also with current affairs through the constant and precise information entrusted to its press office.

In the hope that a new European dimension can bring closer what human events have arbitrarily distanced.
