È disponibile da alcuni giorni su YouTube la nuova canzone di Gabriella Vuxani, cantautrice triestina ed esule dalmata di seconda generazione, che un anno fa ha pubblicato l’album “Butterfly”.

Questa nuova canzone intreccia storia famigliare e le vicende che sconvolsero nel Novecento Zara, città di origine della sua famiglia: «L’ho scritta dopo aver letto un breve racconto autobiografico di mio padre, poetico e struggente – racconta la Vuxani – A Zara, alla fine della guerra, due ragazzi, mio padre, italiano, e Melody, croata, si innamorano. Lei gli rimane accanto per due anni, consapevole che lui se ne sarebbe andato via per sempre, esule dalla sua terra. Quando tanti anni dopo mio padre tornerà a Zara, e la cercherà, scoprirà che la guerra degli anni Novanta tra serbi e croati l’ha portata via per sempre»
